Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced
Plumber
to join a reputable contractor on a project located at alive prison site in Brixton, London
. The role involves a range of plumbing installations and maintenance works within a secure environment.Security clearance to work in prisons is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of pipework, sanitaryware, and associated systems. Maintenance and repair of existing plumbing systems. Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and site security protocols. Coordinating with other trades and following programme requirements.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent (essential). Proven experience on commercial or secure sites (prison, MOD, etc.).
Current prison clearance or ability to obtain it (essential).
CSCS card (blue or gold preferred). Own tools and PPE.Desirable:
Experience working in secure environments or under strict access protocols. Knowledge of water regulations and HMP standards.
