We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various plumbing techniques. This role involves working on a variety of plumbing systems, ensuring that installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards. The Plumber will be responsible for assembling, welding, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Weld pipes as necessary to ensure secure connections. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Apply basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and equipment. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential. A valid plumbing qualification or apprenticeship is desirable but not essential for all candidates willing to learn.
