We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks. Conduct welding as necessary for pipe fittings and repairs. Perform carpentry work related to plumbing installations. Assemble plumbing components according to specifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all work activities. Carry out routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Valid commercial driving licence is advantageous but not essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
