We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across a variety of residential properties. Responsibilities

Install, service, commission and repair heating systems including log burners, boilers, radiators, bathrooms, etc Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation of heating equipment. Diagnose faults accurately and implement effective repair solutions promptly. Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out tasks efficiently. Perform welding and plumbing tasks as required during installation or repair processes. Carry out builders work related to system installation or modifications. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving equipment or materials. Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used for each project. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during operations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes.

Skills

Proven experience in heating system installation and maintenance. Proficiency in all aspects of plumbing, heating, and assembly work. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with attention to detail.
