We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in various tools and techniques, ensuring that heating systems operate efficiently and safely. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our clients while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers and radiators.
Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues within heating systems.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform necessary repairs and installations.
Collaborate with plumbing teams to ensure integrated system functionality.
Assemble components of heating systems according to specifications.
Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their heating needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly techniques.
Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
