Plumbing & Heating Engineer - Air Source Heat Pumps

Due to ongoing growth, we're looking for a skilled and experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer with a background in Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems to join our expanding team. This role primarily involves the installation of ASHP systems, with some maintenance and repair work as the position develops.

We're ideally seeking candidates with solid experience and knowledge of heat pump technology. However, we are also open to upskilling the right individual with a strong plumbing and heating background. Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out surveys, installation and commissioning of air source heat pump systems Support with servicing and repairs as needed as the service offering evolves Diagnose and resolve system faults confidently and efficiently - participation in a call-out rota may be introduced New build plumbing and heating installation works Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience with air source heat pump systems Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team Familiarity with leading ASHP manufacturers (manufacturer training can be provided)

Qualifications & Experience:

NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation, Gas, or Oil (Installation & Maintenance) Minimum 2 years' experience installing wet central heating systems - evidence may include manufacturer training certificates, Gas Safe, OFTEC, MCS, or HETAS registration Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pump Systems Water Regs and G3
