We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee our plumbing operations. We specialise in all aspects of plumbing but have a focus on renewables.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and techniques, ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Manage a team of plumbers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Assist trainees in completing their NVQ qualifications. Conduct regular inspections of plumbing installations and repairs to ensure quality workmanship. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site to facilitate smooth project execution. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Ensure proper use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs.

Experience

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in plumbing supervision or a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in welding, carpentry, assembly, and the use of hand and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to plumbing tasks. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of materials as needed. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
