Temp to perm, 22-hour days, 7-7 both Night and Day shift on a continental shift pattern
About the Role
I am seeking a skilled and proactive Plumbing/Mechanical Maintenance Shift Engineer to join our team on a construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing and mechanical systems, ensuring all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out plumbing and mechanical maintenance tasks
Carry out important daily water treatment ppm tasks
Respond to emergency calls for the fire alarm and using the fire panel, also using a bleep and shift mobile to respond to these.
Use the BMS system to control the plant across site.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other engineering disciplines.
Requirements:
Must have valid right to work in the UK
CSCS card required
Level 3 building services qualification and or minimum Level 2 plumbing qualification
DBS Check
Proven experience in plumbing/mechanical maintenance, preferably within construction or facilities management.
Willingness to work on a shift basis.
