Overview



This is an exciting opportunity to join a new Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and talented PMO Analyst to become an integral part of our Insurance Retail Integration PMO Team.

The role is accountable to the Head of Integration / Integration PMO Lead working on both regular and ad-hoc PMO activities and in collaboration with other PMO Team members (Onshore and Offshore). The PMO team will support projects and programmes across the Retail Integration Portfolio of work, and work in accordance with the team and business needs.


Gallagher supports an agile working approach to meet the needs of the business. We offer hybrid working and this role will be a mixture of working in a Gallagher office and from home.






How you'll make an impact



Working with Programme/Project/Workstream Leads to: + Provide oversight of Mergers & Acquisition pipeline and in-flight projects and programmes
+ Collate reporting on status, deliverables, milestones, and RAIDS, highlighting exceptions for escalation
+ Lead the creation of Steering and Operating Group presentations, schedule, minute and follow up on actions resulting from those meetings.
+ Analyse and review project documentation, ensuring alignment with the Gallagher Change Governance and M&A Frameworks. Ensure that the quality of documentation is fit for purpose and appropriate for each audience.
+ Ensure changes to project funding, scope and/or schedule are raised for formal review and approval as required.
+ Ensure dependencies within or between projects and programmes are identified and managed.
+ Support management and maintenance of the portfolio-level benefits register, ensuring that all benefits are planned, monitored and benefits realisation is tracked.
+ Ensure lessons learned are documented and logged appropriately for future M&A initiatives.
Provide support and guidance to Programme/Project Managers to follow Gallagher project standards across systems, tools and templates aligned with the Gallagher Project Methodology and Change Delivery Framework across the Integration portfolio.





About You



Previous experience of working in a Change / Integration environment, preferably within a PMO and large corporation. Knowledge of General Insurance (London Market / Lloyd's and Industry) products and services Knowledge of Mergers & Aqusitions and Integration processes An understanding of change methodology including relevant PRINCE 2/APM qualification or equivalent. Knowledge of project delivery methods and associated controls from initiation to risk management to benefits realisation including financial management Excellent knowledge of the PMO function and managing PMO activities at project, programme and portfolio level. Proven ability to identify and implement continuous improvement activities. Proficient in tracking and reporting on project status with a focus on exception-based reporting at programme and portfolio level Fantastic stakeholder management skills Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies Previous experience using Planview would be an advantage
