We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join our Transformation and Analytics Team within Financial Support.

Financial Support are part way through a multi-year transformation programme aimed at simplifying processes for our colleagues, introducing new contact channels for our customers, and addressing areas of obsolescence. The Infrastructure & Analytics team within Financial Support Transformation are responsible for managing big, technical change from the ideas phase through to implementation and ongoing BAU product development.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for supporting the PMO range of activities to enable the effective and timely delivery of projects within the Financial Support CoE. This includes providing administrative support, producing reporting MI and the required material for all governance and control activities.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll support the project management community embedding of PMO methods, tools and best practices across all programmes.

  • Identifying, assessing, managing and reporting risks, taking proactive personal responsibility for \xe2\x80\x98doing the right thing\xe2\x80\x99 in compliance with regulatory requirements and our framework and policies.
  • Taking accountability for tracking mitigating activity by risk and issue owners
  • Contributing the accurate completion of day-to-day governance activities (ORAs, update of logs and documentation), to ensure risks are effectively managed and escalated appropriately
  • Building strong working relationships with programme team members and stakeholders in order to support effective delivery of PMO responsibilities
  • Maintaining PMO standards to ensure programme customer needs are met

  • PMO experience within a large project or programme
  • Ability to perform successfully in a challenging role whilst dealing effectively with stakeholders
It would also be nice for you to have.
  • Problem solving skills (breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces)
  • Strong programme coordination and administration abilities, coupled with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to include influencing others using a range of different approaches and deliverables.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
