Purpose of Role:
We have 2 openings for a PMO Analyst working as part of the Transformation Management Office (TMO) for Performance Excellence, Weir\'s multi-year Transformation Programme, taking Weir from good to great and an even better place to work. An experienced PMO Analyst, you\'ll play a vital role in supporting the successful planning, execution, and governance of the programme. You\'ll collaborate with the TMO leaders, partners and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass project management activities, such as project coordination, reporting, risk management, monitoring and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Support project managers and workstream leads to develop comprehensive project plans, including defining timelines, milestones, dependencies and assumptions. Support the facilitation of ongoing plan reviews to ensure plans are maintained, risk or issues are identified and escalated, and project inter-dependencies are aligned and tracked.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify and assess project risks, issues, and dependencies, supporting risk and issue owners to develop risk mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues where required. Monitor and update the risk register and support the implementation of risk mitigation actions.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and senior management. Prepare communication materials, such as presentations and updates, to ensure the timely dissemination of project information. Support the development and execution of stakeholder engagement plans.

Change Management: Support change management activities related to the transformation programme. Collaborate with the change management team to develop and execute change plans, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Well organised, both task and action based with a logical process base to work.

Experience of working in a dynamic major transformation programme and fast-moving change environment, with the ability to support others in their change delivery.

Experience of drafting a wide range of reports with an ability to summarise a complex set of facts, clearly, accurately, and succinctly to different stakeholders / audiences

Certification in a project management methodology highly desirable (e.g. PMP, Prince2) and experience of project management tooling (e.g. Planview) highly desirable
