The projects delivery team is responsible in maintaining over 6000 properties, covering 65million sqft across the UK. We are continuing to deliver high-class fit outs as part of BT\'s transformation programme bringing over 500 office spaces into 30 key sites and hubs. The Property team over the next 10 years and beyond will be continuing to deliver key projects and programmes transforming the BT Groups strategic ambitions. BT are investing highly in our operational estate; the projects and workplace team will be leading on producing quality refurbishments to match the quality of our network installations. The project delivery of over \xc2\xa3300m is key to the success of BT and you will be empowered to deliver improvements to enhance the output and minimise risk to the business.

Some of What you\'ll be doing

Group-wide collaboration and best practice

  • Implementing and maintaining a PMO environment
  • Providing and regularly reviewing honest, transparent assessment of the project status and RAID(risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies)
  • Strategic Lead for all aspects of reporting
  • Define the best practice approach for Programme Management and culturally embed into the organisation, so that high quality programme management processes are adopted widely across the business.
Project Governance, Control Stakeholder Management and Reporting
  • Establish a project governance, ensuring projects are approved and endorsed by the Exec before being mobilised
  • Track costs, timescales and resources against plan; ensuring any deviations from agreed tolerances are communicated promptly and driven towards resolution
  • Use influence to identify and eliminate roadblocks and potential resource alignment problems
  • Assurance that all process, procedure\'s, design and technical requirements are incorporated within all projects
Budgeting and Capacity Planning
  • Coordinate budgets, costs, cashflow, timescales and resourcing estimates, across all Programmes
  • Accountable for commercial reporting at a Program level
  • Development of benchmarking data sets and cost estimating tools for use within capital investment planning activities and Project level business validation exercises
  • Collaborate with Procurement on strategic purchasing at the Project and Program level
Contract management and control
  • Ensure all contracts meet standard JCT guideline
  • Accountable for all Project and Program level performance reporting
  • Manage and monitor KPI and Quality Management processes and reporting
  • Manage lessons learned process at both Project and Program levels
Experience you\'d be expected to have
  • The operational aptitude to execute on delivery
  • Experience of operating current FM, projects and property IT systems
  • Experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting key business data
  • Strong examples of interpersonal aptitude
  • Ability to design and implement various final systems and processes
  • Understanding of diverse construction projects
