We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various foot and lower limb conditions, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot health, including medical history and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat a range of podiatric conditions, including but not limited to diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and skin disorders.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Educate patients on foot care practices, preventative measures, and lifestyle modifications to enhance their overall health.
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications
A recognised degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practising Podiatrist.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to patients and colleagues.
Proficiency in IT systems for patient management and record keeping.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 175.00-220.00 per day
Expected hours: 7 per week
