About the role.

Associate Podiatrist required to join an established practice on a self employed basis. The clinic is called Foot Centric and is located in Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent. The role is 2 days per week, on a fee per treatment basis. Earning potential is 38 per hour for the right candidate . The days will predominately be Mondays and Fridays . The hours are 9am-6pm , but there is a small level of flexibility here, which can be discussed at interview. Podiatry treatments currently offered at Foot Centric :

Routine podiatry (this is our core offering)
Nail surgery
Warm wax therapy
Verruca treatments

The ideal candidate must be able to work unsupervised, so previous experience is advantageous, and have the ability to adapt to the specific requirements that private practice brings . Exemplary communication skills are a must as well as a passion for all things Podiatry.

Please note this is a self employed associate position, therefore, the candidate needs to supply their own instruments and some consumables and will be responsible for their own tax return.

Job Responsibilities: Treating all foot related conditions ( we focus on doing core routine podiatry and doing it well) , reception duties including taking payment, rebooking etc , managing own case load, cleaning & instrument decontamination. There is no expectation for the candidate to do home visits and we don't offer MSK assessments.

Qualifications: HCPC registered , relevant podiatry/chiropody qualification and own insurance.

Two references will be required.

Some previous private practice experience desirable.
