An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Polish Shop Operative
to join our growing Production Team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:Key Responsibilities
Spray all types of lacquers and paints, including
PU, AC, and water-based finishes
.Stain materials
to required colour specifications and finishes.Mix and match
different paint and lacquer types to achieve desired results.Prepare surfaces
for finishing, includingsanding, filling, and masking
.Operate spray equipment
safely and efficiently to apply coatings. Maintain aclean, organised, and safe workspace
in compliance with company standards. Work collaboratively with the production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow and deadlines are met. Hold or be willing to obtain aCSCS card
(the company will assist with this if site visits are required).Requirements
Minimum
5 years' experience
in a similar role within apolish or spray shop
environment. Strong knowledge ofsurface preparation, finishing techniques, and materials
. Ability to work to high-quality standards with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge ofhealth and safety procedures
related to paint spraying and chemical handling. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team or independently.What We Offer
