Job Description

As a Porfolio analyst within Fasanara Ventures you'll be an essential part of a team that manages $300m of assets across 40 early stage start-ups in the fintech space across 3 venture capital funds including 4 unicorns. Our flat hierarchy means that you will take project ownership and contribute with your own ideas and experience from day one. Moreover, challenging and varied tasks give you scope to interact with highly skilled individuals in finance, capital markets, law and tech teams.


Responsibilities include:

Manage day-to-day fund requests, update LP reporting Use financial models and market research to assess the viability and growth potential of companies Build relationships with entrepreneurs in portfolio companies and other industry professionals Assist with the annual audit of VC funds Assist processing payments and own the relationships with service providers Assist across all stages of deal execution, especially due diligence and legal execution Coordinate across teams to execute VC-related tasks

Requirements



Demonstrated ability to self-start, prioritize across multiple tasks, and independently manage all aspects of transactions or portfolio company monitoring. Genuine interest in fintech, alternative lending, and venture capital. Prior experience in fast-paced environments, particularly working directly with start-ups or fintech companies (experience with fintech lending businesses is preferred). Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, or a related field Basic accounting knowledge, with an understanding of the differences and relationships between balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
