Responsibilities



Oversee daily operations of the post office, ensuring efficient service delivery. Manage staff schedules and training, promoting teamwork and high performance. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain accurate financial records, including cash handling and transaction processing. Ensure compliance with all postal regulations and health and safety standards. Promote additional services offered by the post office to enhance customer experience. Organise community events to strengthen local engagement and awareness of services.

Experience



Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is essential. Experience in managing or supervising a team is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction. Familiarity with financial transactions and basic accounting principles is advantageous. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making is essential for success in this role.
