As a Pot Wash / Kitchen Assistant at Denstone Hall, you're part of the skilled kitchen team that keeps our cafe running smoothly every day. Your work is essential, clean equipment, organised spaces, and reliable support for our chefs. You'll handle fast-paced pot washing, help with food prep when needed, and make sure the kitchen is always ready for the next rush.

This role is ideal for someone practical, steady, and hands-on. You don't need to be a chef. You do need to take pride in doing the essentials really well.

Flexibility matters too, you'll support the kitchen team wherever needed to keep service smooth and standards high.

What You'll Lead and Support

Pot Wash & Kitchen Support

Lead the pot washing area and keep equipment clean, ready, and moving quickly Operate dishwashers and cleaning equipment confidently and safely Keep the wash-up and kitchen areas tidy, organised, and running efficiently Support general kitchen duties to help service run smoothly

Food Preparation

Carry out basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs Follow instructions carefully to maintain consistent quality and safety Support the team during busy periods with calm, steady energy

Kitchen Hygiene & Safety

Follow all food hygiene and safety procedures (including allergens and cleaning routines) Maintain a clean, well-organised workspace at all times Support excellent hygiene standards that help maintain our 5-star rating
