Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pot Wash to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept tidy, organised, and clean. Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or hotel environments is advantageous but not essential. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including kitchens, prep kitchens and wash up areas. Washing dishes, plates, cutlery and all cooking utensils. Ensure all surfaces, cooking equipment and sink units are maintained and cleaned to a high standard. Restock supplies such as cleaning products, and consumables as needed Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments is desirable Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to restaurants, hotels, or catering settings is beneficial Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good organisational skills with an eye for detail Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning tasks and schedules Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to hygiene standards
