Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hard working person to join our team, working in pot wash on a Saturday. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the running of the business, ensuring that all crockery, glassware and kitchen equipment is washed and put away in a timely manner and to a high standard to ensure the smooth running of the business. The ideal candidate must be hard working and be able to work well under pressure as we are a very busy family run cafe.

Responsibilities

Using commercial dishwashers to clean crockery, glassware and kitchen equipment during busy breakfast and lunch service. Ensuring everything is cleaned to the highest standards and safely put away in its correct location. Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest hygiene standards, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly after use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness during food preparation and service times. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Participate in deep cleaning tasks as required, especially during off-peak hours or scheduled maintenance periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage however full on site training will be given so therefore it isn't necessary to have previous experience A strong commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
The role available is for Saturdays, working approximately 9am until close which is usually around 6pm. There will opportunities to increase hours to cover holidays etc, and additional work available during school holidays and busier periods.

National minimum wage dependent on age. Weekly pay.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour
