Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests and staff alike. The Cleaner will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, with an emphasis on areas related to food preparation and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen areas, including food preparation surfaces and cooking equipment Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that cleanliness standards are upheld during food preparation and service
- Fast and efficient at washing up and placing items into dishwasher.

- To clean down kitchen area and floors to be swept and mopped.

- To clean down Coffee machine

- Replace Salt in the dishwasher, remove parts and clean and drain at the end of every shift.

- To list any supplies needed on ordering list and replace empty chemicals on dishwasher with full ones.

- Take bins to outside bin and place new bin bags into bins.

- To clean all under counter areas.

- To keep every surface to high standard of cleaning to meet with Environmental Health standards.

- Training can be given.

- You will be required Some weekday evenings and also weekend afternoons/evenings

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role within a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is highly desirable Familiarity with food preparation and cooking processes is advantageous Background in hospitality or serving roles will be beneficial for understanding the importance of cleanliness in guest-facing areas A strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.60-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
