Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper rotation and cleanliness of storage areas. Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. A basic understanding of food preparation techniques is desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others within the team. A passion for cooking and an interest in developing culinary skills is beneficial.
