Job Description
Powder Coater required to carry out paint and prep work in a busy manufacturing environment producing playground equipment.
Ideal Candidates must be able to work as part of a team, with an eye for quality and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate must also be able to lift, carry and stand for the duration of the shift.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and powder coat a variety of metal products to customer and company specifications. Operate, clean, and maintain powder coating guns, booths, and curing ovens. Carry out colour changes efficiently while keeping a tidy, organised workspace. Inspect finished parts to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish. Follow all health and safety guidelines in a busy manufacturing environment. Work collaboratively with the production team to meet delivery targets.
Requirements
Previous experience in powder coating or industrial spray painting. Good understanding of metal preparation, coating processes, and curing times. High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
39 hrs p/w 7:30am to 4:30 pm Mon-Thurs 7:30am to 12:30pm Fridays
