Job Description

The Role

We're looking for a

PPC Specialist

to take ownership of our paid media strategy and execution across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn. You'll work independently day-to-day, with the support of our Marketing Manager who leads overall brand strategy and organic content. This is a great opportunity for someone confident in performance marketing who wants to shape and scale paid acquisition across a growing portfolio of campaigns.

This is not an assistant or coordinator role. You'll be responsible for setting up, managing, optimising, and reporting on paid campaigns across multiple channels with autonomy and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Media Campaign Management

Plan, launch, and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Search, Display, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). Own keyword research, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and budget allocation across platforms. Set up and manage campaign tracking via GA4, Google Tag Manager, and other relevant tools. Write and test ad copy that drives conversions and aligns with messaging strategy. Identify and test new ad platforms and formats where relevant (e.g., Performance Max, Reddit Ads, TikTok).

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Monitor daily campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to improve ROI and CPL. Produce weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations. Conduct A/B tests on creative, copy, and landing pages to continuously improve performance. Align paid media strategy with business KPIs such as lead generation, pipeline contribution, or customer acquisition.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure paid efforts align with wider campaigns and organic activity. Brief in-house or external design and content teams on creative requirements for campaigns (static, video, landing pages). Share insights with the wider team to help shape messaging, funnel design, and attribution models. Liaise with the commercial/sales teams (where applicable) to ensure paid leads are qualified and conversion-ready.

Ongoing Development

Stay up to date with industry changes, platform updates (e.g., GA4, PMax), and regulatory shifts (e.g., cookie/privacy laws). Proactively identify and trial new growth tactics, automation tools, or bidding strategies to enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of hands-on PPC experience (search and paid social). Proven success running paid campaigns with clear ROI or CPL improvements. Experience managing budgets and working to performance targets. Confident using Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics (GA4). Solid understanding of conversion tracking, UTMs, pixels, and attribution. Comfortable working independently, with strong project and time management skills. Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively.

Nice to Have

Experience with B2B lead generation or SaaS marketing. Familiarity with landing page CRO and UX best practices. Experience using Looker Studio, SEMrush, or other reporting and keyword tools. Understanding of brand safety, exclusions, and compliance in regulated sectors.
