We're looking for a commercially aware, data-driven SEO & PPC Specialist to support our digital efforts across search, paid social, and content performance. You'll play a key role in implementing, analysing, and optimising campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
You'll be working in a small but fast-paced team where your insights and ideas will help shape channel growth and influence wider marketing and business decisions. Working from our Head Offices in Cardiff, this role demands flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative approach to meet the business's evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Paid Media (PPC & Paid Social)
:
Create & manage paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn.
Monitor ad performance and make data-informed adjustments to optimise spend and improve ROI.
Collaborate with creatives and designers to produce high-performing ad assets.
Support A/B testing across copy, creative, and audience segments.
Help prepare reports and dashboards using Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other tools.
Search Engine Optimisation
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis using tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Surfer SEO.
Support the development and optimisation of content based on search intent and performance data.
Assist with technical SEO audits and recommendations (site speed, internal linking, metadata, etc.).
Track and report on organic search performance and content effectiveness.
Content & Commercial Impact
Collaborate with content and social teams to align performance goals with broader marketing strategy.
Support multi-format campaign delivery, including blog content, landing pages, and email nurture workflows.
Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting to measure ROI and inform strategy.
Take part in commercial alignment workshops to understand how SEO/PPC drives lead gen and revenue
Campaign Execution & Management
Build and launch paid campaigns from scratch across Google Search, Display, and LinkedIn -- including keyword targeting, audience segmentation, and budget control.
Own campaign setup processes including UTM tagging, conversion tracking, and goal setup in GA4 or Google Tag Manager.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track KPIs across all performance channels and translate findings into actionable insights.
Support monthly marketing reports, dashboards, and recommendations for optimisation using Google Looker Studio or similar tools
Industry Monitoring & Innovation
Stay up to date with SEO and PPC trends, Google algorithm changes, and platform updates (e.g. changes in LinkedIn ad formats or cookie tracking laws).
Test and suggest new campaign formats or emerging tools that could drive growth (e.g. Reddit Ads, Performance Max, or AI-driven content tools).
Person Specification
What we're looking for
1-2 years' experience in a marketing or content-focused role, ideally within B2B or tech/SaaS.
Exposure to SEO or paid media tools like Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, SEMrush, Surfer SEO.
Understanding of key marketing performance metrics (CPC, CTR, ROAS, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Analytical mindset and comfortable interpreting campaign data.
Ability to manage tasks independently and work cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and sales.
Nice to Have
Copywriting experience for digital campaigns.
Previous ownership of social media accounts or campaigns.
Experience working in a commercial or target-driven environment.
Familiarity with UX writing or CRO principles.
Experience managing budgets and reporting to stakeholders.
Knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and tracking pixel implementation.
Familiarity with lead scoring or sales funnel optimisation.
