Everything you need to know about the role:
This is an opportunity to join an independent healthcare communications agency as a PR Account Manager, working across a mix of UK and global client projects.
You'll be a key part of a small, collaborative team, delivering integrated healthcare communications campaigns across corporate communications, disease awareness, patient advocacy, and social and digital channels. The role offers broad therapy area exposure and genuine responsibility from day one.
You will:

• Act as the day-to-day client contact on accounts, building strong and trusted relationships
• Deliver high-quality healthcare communications programmes across UK and multi-market projects
• Develop impactful content for editorial, social, and digital campaigns
• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Manage account finances, including budgeting, billing, and reconciliation
• Contribute to new business activity, including research and pitch support

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit:

• Currently working at Account Manager level within a healthcare PR agency
• Experience delivering UK and international healthcare communications programmes
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, agile self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment
• Strategic, critical thinker with a collaborative mindset

Preferred:

• Experience working across therapy areas such as women's health, rare disease, neurology, vaccines, or similar
• Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial agency environment
