Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm, to assist them in their search for a new External Communications Manager to cover London and European offices.
This is a new role in their expanding London office, to work as part of their highly collaborative team, whereby the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting PR strategy by identifying opportunities and implementing communication programs.
Responsibilities will include:

Establishing and maintaining relationships with media outlets, industry players, and stakeholders.
Collaborating with internal communications, BD, and marketing teams to implement programs that align with business plans.
Monitoring industry trends and competitors' activity.
Identifying media opportunities and implementing profile-raising activity, such as messages, press releases, and deal announcements.
Serving as a point of contact for media requests.
Tracking PR activity and monitoring media, using this data to inform PR plans.
Tracking and reporting KPIs, internal announcements, and newsletters, maintaining knowledge of technologies and resources.
Aligning and implementing firmwide media relations processes.
Supporting the global communications team.

The firm are offering a highly competitive salary & benefits package, and hybrid working arrangements are in place.
Suitable candidates will have gained prior Public Relations experience, from within a law firm or international professional services environment. We are seeking applicants with exemplary relationship building, communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills, as well as sound news and media knowledge. A working knowledge of German or French is highly desired.
