Job Description

We're looking for a proactive, organised and personable Practice Manager to join our warm and welcoming team at ProHealth Chiropractic in Chorley. This is a permanent role working 5 days per week - Monday to Friday.

30 hours per week | 5 Days a Week (Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays and travel for events, historically 3 or less a year)

ProHealth Chiropractic Clinic is a multi-disciplinary health and wellbeing practice based on the outskirts of Chorley. We're home to a team of dedicated professionals offering a range of therapies including Chiropractic, Massage, Rehabilitation and more. The Role:


As Practice Manager, you will be the main point of contact for both patients and staff, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently each day. Your responsibilities will include managing business operations such as daily finances, data entry, and maintaining internal systems and processes. You will liaise with external organisations we use to promote and manage the clinic. You will coordinate both internal team meetings and social events, as well as patient-focused events within the clinic. Supporting the team, you'll handle day-to-day concerns from staff and patients, observe practitioners where appropriate to help maintain consistency and quality of care, oversee front-of-house administration, and ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all. Reporting and evaluating practitioner and patient progressions and plans monthly with the business owner.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic Act as the main point of contact for patients and staff Manage business operations including spreadsheets, data entry, and internal processes Coordinate internal team meetings, staff socials, and patient-focused events Support and plan social media content and in-clinic marketing campaigns Handle team and patient queries or concerns with professionalism and care Monitor and manage basic risk and compliance processes within the clinic Observe practitioner interactions to help maintain high standards and continuity of care Supervise front-of-house duties, ensuring a warm and efficient reception experience Support practitioners in growing their patient base while maintaining clinic standards and balance Oversee HR tasks including holiday approvals, team communication, sickness, pay and bonuses, timesheets, disciplinary action Ensure all business compliance is kept up to date, including fire regulations, implement new COSHH records, risk assessments, hygiene standards, and other health & safety requirements Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming clinic environment

What We're Looking For:



Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage professionally with patients, practitioners, and suppliers Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour that contributes to a positive clinic environment Confident and competent using patient management software, HR systems, spreadsheets, and other digital tools Proven experience in a similar management or supervisory role, preferably within a clinical, healthcare, or wellbeing setting Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player Able to motivate those around by setting a good example and hold others to account
