Fleet dental Centre is well-established mixed NHS and private dental practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day running, and long-term growth of our busy dental practice. You'll take ownership of patient care, team performance, compliance, and commercial success - ensuring the practice is safe, efficient, and thriving.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both financial management and human resources.

You will be required to:

Develop and maintain relationships with patients to enhance their experience and satisfaction with our services. Manage HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, training, and appraisals. Keep the practice fully compliant with CQC, NHS, GDC, and Health & Safety standards. Proactively ensure issues or complaints are dealt with professionally and effectively. Ensure administrative and clinical excellence by developing and strengthening standard operating processes, and advocating for solution focused approach within your teams. Manage the overall operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas. Supervise staff, including dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive team atmosphere. Oversee financial management tasks, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable to ensure the financial health of the practice. Coordinate schedules for staff and manage patient appointments to optimise workflow. Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment; order as necessary to maintain adequate stock
Essential Criteria

Experience in management or leadership role (ideally within dentistry or healthcare). Knowledge of NHS dental contracts and UDA delivery Strong people management and HR knowledge. Ability to work to budgets and use performance data. Desire to develop existing skills and knowledge or learn the business of dentistry. Organised, resilient, and confident problem solver. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with CQC compliance and inspection requirements. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members alike. Proficiency in dental software systems is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided as needed. Familiar with Software of Excellence
Job Types: ideally Full-time, Permanent

Pay rate: Negotiable - depending on experience

Expected start date: ASAP or happy to wait notice period.
