As Practice Manager for our Communications Practice, you'll partner closely with senior economists to help shape the practice's strategic direction, commercial priorities and have the operational oversight of key practice activities across our global clients. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical delivery, and who thrives as a trusted partner to senior leaders.

What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will vary in line with the needs of the practice, but are expected to include:
Clients and Business DevelopmentWorking with practice leadership to develop and deliver a clear business development strategy
Using insight from client feedback, wins and losses, and project outcomes to inform priorities
Ensuring robust client feedback processes are in place and learning is shared across the practice
Collaborating with colleagues on events, content and campaigns
Overseeing embedded support for BD tracking, budgets and reporting
Connector into Central FunctionsActing as the primary, accountable link between the practice and central functions
Establishing clear ownership of responsibilities to enable efficient, aligned and well-prioritised requests
Channelling practice needs into central teams and ensuring the practice voice is visible
Working closely with Resourcing Managers to align people, skills and workload with strategy
Practice OperationsSetting and maintaining a clear operational rhythm across pipeline, utilisation, finance, recruitment, training and BD activity
Interpreting management information to spot trends, risks and opportunities
Ensuring processes are proportionate, lightweight and supportive of client delivery
Directing and supporting embedded PA colleagues in line with practice priorities
