Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, maintaining high standards of client care, and leading a team of veterinary professionals. Responsibilities

Supervise and support the veterinary team, including veterinary nurses, reception staff, and administrative personnel Manage practice finances, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and staff welfare Ensure compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards Coordinate appointment scheduling and client communication to optimise practice efficiency Maintain high standards of client care and ensure excellent customer service Implement policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness Liaise with external suppliers and service providers to ensure smooth procurement and maintenance of equipment Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the practice within the community

Skills

Strong management capabilities with a focus on organisational efficiency Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to staff recruitment, development, and welfare Veterinary experience is desirable to facilitate effective communication with clinical staff and understanding of practice operations Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach towards clients and team members Ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and foster a positive working environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-47,000.00 per year
