We are a friendly, successful training practice with a list size of 10,000. Our team consists of 5 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP and an excellent nursing and admin support.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of financial management, and a passion for patient care. This role is crucial in ensuring that our team operates efficiently while providing the highest level of service to our patients.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the practice staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards of care.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance practice efficiency.
Patient services

Management of premises, equipment and stock

Skills
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a General Practice or healthcare setting.
Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Proficiency in financial management principles, including budgeting and financial analysis.
Knowledge of human resources practices related to recruitment, training, and employee development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff and patients alike.
