We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, financial processes, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client and patient care. Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the practice team, including veterinary nurses, receptionists, and support staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
Oversee daily operational activities, including appointment scheduling, client relations, and patient care coordination.
Manage financial processes such as budgeting, invoicing, billing, and expense control to ensure profitability.
Implement human resources policies, including staff recruitment, training programmes, performance appraisals, and staff welfare initiatives.
Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and health & safety standards across the practice.
Develop and maintain effective communication channels within the team to promote a positive working environment.
Support marketing efforts to attract new clients whilst maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients.
Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives accordingly.
Qualifications
Proven supervisory experience within a healthcare or veterinary setting.
Strong management skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively.
Knowledge of financial management principles relevant to healthcare practices.
Experience in human resources management including recruitment, training, and staff development.
Veterinary experience or background is highly desirable to facilitate understanding of clinical operations and client needs.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.

MUST have valid GDC registration
MUST have indemnity insurance
MUST have experience within a dental setting as a qualified dental nurse or similar.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 17.00-18.00 per hour
