Huntingdon Road Surgery is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Nurse to join our dynamic and dedicated healthcare team. We are a progressive GP practice which focuses in patient-centred care and professional development.
Main duties of the job
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering holistic and high quality patient centred care in a primary care setting.

Working closely with our local community, we are responsible for the health needs ofour patientswhich provides a great variety in our daily work. Examples include Long Term Condition Management, Sexual & Reproductive Health, Health Promotion & Primary Prevention work, Mental Health, Learning Disabilitiesand MinorInjuries.Thereis opportunityto develop areas of specialinterest.
The role will ideally be full time, but part time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
About us
Huntingdon Road Surgery is an inclusive and supportive team, of 3 Partners, 10 Salaried GPs, 9 Nurses/HCAs, a Clinical Pharmacist, A Physician Associate and a strong Management and administrative team. We also have a Dispensary in nearby Girton.
We have a stimulating and diverse group of 23,500 appreciative patients.

  • Registered Nurse qualifications and current NMC registration.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in primary or community care desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • We are particularly keen to recruit someone with qualifications or an interest in Diabetes.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills, enthusiasm and the ability to use their own initiative whilst also being a team player.
