Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including performing physical examinations, assessing health conditions, and administering medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options.
- Assist in the coordination of patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers.
- Administer vaccinations and other immunizations as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Strong patient care skills, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat common health conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on healthcare topics and provide emotional support.
- Proficient in using medical equipment and technology for diagnostic purposes.
