Gossops Green Medical, Crawley
is looking for a Part Time Practice Nurse for 24 hours per week to expand our small friendly GP Practice team. List size of 7500 patients. Team includes 8 GPs, 1 ANP Nurse, 1 HCA and 1 new Nurse in training.We are looking for a professional, committed individual who will provide routine nurse services. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in Primary Care. Candidates should be computer literate, ideally with knowledge of SystmOne and be competent in providing:
- Basic treatment room duties to include Immunisations, B12s, Zoladex, Smears, Contraception & HRT reviews,
- Chronic disease management - Asthma, Hypertension, COPD.
- Diabetic basic knowledge - full training can be given
Full training will be provided to the right candidate. Support will be provided in house and future career development is encouraged for our nursing staff.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Fully qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) and have a valid NMC number
Practice skills such as Asthma, COPD and hypertension, diabetes an advantage Spirometry, Peak Flow Assessments, BPs, Bloods, ECG, smears and Vaccine administration
An enthusiastic and flexible approach to team working as a member of the team you will be supported by a full complement of clinical and non-clinical staff
SystmOne clinical knowledge an advantage but training will be given
24 hours per week
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.50-23.00 per hour
