Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our practice team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our service. This position requires a strong background in primary care and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Duties

Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs accurately. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and vaccinations as prescribed. Educate patients on health management, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in health promotion activities and community outreach programs. Ensure the practice environment is safe, clean, and organised for both patients and staff. All treatment room services.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent qualification with valid nursing registration. Previous experience in a primary care environment is required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.
