Overview

We are seeking a motivated and caring Practice Nurse to join our team. While experience in a general practice setting is desirable, we are open to providing training and support for the right candidate. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being of our patients while supporting the overall operations of the practice. As a Practice Nurse, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective nursing services in a friendly and professional environment.

Duties

Conduct patient assessments and triage to determine care needs. Administer vaccinations and injections as required. Provide health education and advice to patients on various health issues. wound care management. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the medical staff. Ensure that infection control protocols are adhered to at all times.

Requirements

Registered Nurse qualification with valid nursing registration. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
