Role Summary
As Practice Operations Manager for FAB Teeth x Archway Dental (Kelly Bray & Callington), you'll be the beating heart of daily delivery -- leading the team, managing patient flow, and making sure the practice runs like clockwork. You'll work closely with HQ teams (HR, Compliance, Training, Finance, Marketing) to implement systems, solve problems, and keep everything on track.
This is not a traditional dental PM role. We're building a bold new model at FAB -- and you'll be at the front of it.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Patient Flow
Oversee daily team flow, diary management, and surgery utilisation
Line manage the TCO, Lead Nurse, and Deputy Lead Nurse
Manage team leave requests, holiday planning, and sickness cover
Lead daily huddles, drive rebooking & recall, and monitor patient experience
Be visible, present, and supportive -- lead from the front, not behind a desk
Operational Execution
Maintain the practice environment to the highest standards of cleanliness, readiness, and compliance
Sign off daily nurse checks and ensure weekly/monthly clinical governance routines are followed
Troubleshoot scheduling issues, stock needs, or ad hoc operational gaps
Escalate compliance issues to HQ when needed
HQ Integration
Execute HQ initiatives (e.g. training rollouts, marketing campaigns, CPD planning, stock transitions)
Liaise with HQ functions: HR (for new starters), Training (for pathway completion), Compliance (for audit readiness)
Leadership & Culture
Coach team behaviours aligned with FAB values: Kindness & Warmth, Excellence, Open & Honest, etc.
Run regular 1:1s, probation check-ins, and performance conversations (HQ support available)
Foster a sense of ownership, accountability, and positivity within the team
What We're Looking For
A leader who thrives in fast-paced, people-first environments
Experience in dental or healthcare ops (or similar roles in high-end hospitality, wellness, beauty)
Someone who's hands-on, switched-on, and always one step ahead
Emotionally intelligent -- knows when to challenge, support, or step in
Organised, proactive, great with systems (Dentally, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Excited by change and building something new
What You'll Get
A chance to shape the future of FAB Teeth's care model from the inside
35 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays)
10 days full paid sick leave
Team events, rewards, and personal development budget
Performance bonuses linked to clear KPIs
Full support from HQ teams: HR, Training, Compliance, Marketing, Finance
Certainly! Here's a warm, professional sign-off to add at the bottom of the job description:
