Minimum Requirements
Level 4 or above in relevant early years qualification - Early Years Teacher is desirable
5 years experience of working with children age 2-5 years
Leadership & Management experience in an Early Years setting
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced level 4 or above qualified person to join our team, lead the care, learning and development of our children age 2-5yrs, support our Committee and work closely with our Administration Manager. Ability to manage, motivate and train staff is essential as is a commitment to Safeguarding, inclusion, working with parents and outdoor learning. A clear and diligent approach to the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage is also vital.
36 hours per week (which includes non-contact time) - 38wks per year plus holiday club throughout the year.
Salary - depending on qualification level 23,000 - 25,400.
Cullompton Pre-school is a thriving community pre-school with an excellent local reputation. We have been judged as Outstanding by Ofsted in our last three inspections - 2015, 2019, 2025. Our building is well designed and resourced with a large landscaped garden and a separate wildlife garden. We currently offer our children Forest School throughout the year and a programme of visits and outings There is full time office support and our staff team is dedicated and highly motivated to provide high outcomes for all our children and families.

As part of the process you will be required to submit a curriculum planning document to be discussed at interview. All details will be sent with your invitation to interview and a template will be provided. You will also run an activity with a small group of children which will be observed.
