Your Role as Pre-Contracts Manager




Take the helm as a leader in bid management activities across the Scotland region. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you'll play a pivotal role in securing major contracts and driving innovation in work-winning processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead the pre-contract team and associated bid management activities, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions. Oversee prequalification documentation and tender appraisals. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and capitalise on business opportunities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analysing post-tender feedback and implementing lessons learned. Coordinate multi-disciplinary bid teams and mentor authors to produce compelling, client-focused submissions. Develop and implement streamlined submission processes to optimise efficiency.

What We're Looking For




To excel in this role, you'll need:

A proven track record in pre-contract/pre-construction management within rail or civil engineering sectors (Tier 1 or 2). Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire collaborative teamwork. A deep understanding of multi-disciplinary rail projects and civil engineering markets. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
