Laidlaw Schools Trust (LST) is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and proactive

Premises Manager

to join our Estates Team across our Oxclose cluster -- comprising Oxclose Primary Academy and Oxclose Community Academy.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that our school buildings and facilities are safe, well-maintained, and conducive to learning. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in supporting high standards across the Trust by delivering outstanding premises management services.

As Premises Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and maintained to the highest standards. Reporting to the Cluster Facilities Manager, you will manage day to day operations of site facilities across the two academies ensuring health and safety compliance, including risk assessment and statutory checks. You will lead on facilities maintenance, repairs and minor improvement projects and oversee contractors and procurement processes.

What we are looking for:



Previous experience in premises or facilities management. Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements. Hands-on practical skills for basic maintenance and repair. Excellent organisational, administrative, and IT skills. Effective communication and leadership abilities, with a team-focused approach.
