We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will lead the kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development. Ensure the kitchen is well-organised, clean, and equipped for optimal performance.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation techniques and presentation. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for cooking and helping others develop their culinary skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.46-13.90 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 22 per week
