Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. Eaton's is a new concept store opening in Llandudno, our prep chefs will work early shifts to prepare the days fresh food, bake breads, cakes and scones. Some evening work will be required for special events. Our style of food is fresh, local and innovative, the ideal candidate will be able to bring ideas and innovation to the table and will have a strong background in food preparation and a deep understanding of food safety standards. As one of our prep Chefs, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional food experiences while managing prep operations. Your creativity and leadership skills will help elevate our offerings and maintain the highest standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest quality standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Help to develop and implement new menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with the store team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Train new staff in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Stay updated on culinary trends to continuously enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for food preparation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for guests.
