Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a flair for creating exquisite dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation while supervising kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations within our restaurant.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and teamwork. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Help create special dishes for events or promotions, showcasing the restaurant's culinary capabilities.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary terminology. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in both food presentation and kitchen cleanliness. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry trends. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 18 per week
