We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall management of our nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. The Deputy Manager will assist in the day-to-day operations, manage staff, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Responsibilities
Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining high standards of care and education.
Manage staff performance, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork.
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Pre-School policies.
Support in recruiting, training, and mentoring new staff members.
Maintain accurate records related to children's progress and Pre-School activities.
Experience
Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
