Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Deputy Manager to join our pre-school team. The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience working with young children and possess strong leadership skills to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our children. We are needing someone with determination and drive to help us push our preschool forward and support our staff and new manager in the amazing work they have been doing the last few months.

Responsibilities


- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development using EYFS as a framework to record children's progress.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play, with safeguarding and welfare at the forefront of your work
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a structured daily routine

-Support the manager in planning & other admin

- Encourage and provide support to staff in their further development as pre school staff.

- Applicant must be aware and knowledgeable of OFSTED expectations and regulations

Experience



-Previous leadership experience desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential
-At least Level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education is Essential
- Ability to manage and engage with young children effectively
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Basic computer skills essential
