Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Deputy Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. As a Preschool Deputy, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our children.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 3-5 years. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting positive interactions among children. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development. Lead activities that promote physical, social, and emotional growth through play-based learning. Maintain accurate records of each child's development and achievements. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience. Drive initiatives that support the nurserie's mission and values in early childhood education.

Experience

Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for childcare and early education, demonstrating patience and creativity in teaching methods. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the varying needs of children.
