Job Description

We are looking for a professional and hard working member of staff to join our Preschool management, required for our term time only setting based in Hadleigh. We enrol children from 9 months.

You must hold a minimum level 3 childcare qualification, and it must be full and relevant including whether or not you need maths/first aid etc to make it usable in the correct ratios in line with statutory regulations.

This role requires experience with managing a small team, with maximum of 29 children per session. You will be in ratio and have key children, but with allocated time to complete managerial requirements such as filling in risk assessments, the food hygiene folder, supervisions of staff and your key childrens observations.

We use Tapestry.

The setting is a church hall, with outdoor space for the children to have an extended learning environment.

The role requires good understanding of the statutory framework, EYFS, and keeping up to date with changing policies and procedures. Minimum level 3 full and relevant certificate. You will need to have a clear DBS and good references, but do not need to be on the update service to apply.

We have an on-site carpark and completely free childcare for our staff if ratios allow no extra member of staff to be needed.

The working week will be 8:45-3:15, Monday to Friday, term time only. Paid hourly. Statutory annual leave and sick pay.

The rate for this position is 13.50 per hour.
