We are looking for a special person who has qualifications and experience within the Child Care industry. The right person has care, patience and compassion to work with children who need additional support and help them to be included in everything we do.
1. To prepare activities for the education, care and safeguarding of the children in our setting with additional needs.
2. To provide high quality teaching and interaction with children.
3. To have close contact with parents/carers regarding their children.
4. To work with outside agencies and implement care plans.
5. To complete a child's learning journal regularly to ensure we monitor progress and to implement interventions.
6. Attend training courses and in-house training.
7. To keep all information private and confidential regarding pre-school matters and information about children and their families.
8. To ensure you have input completing focus child teaching moments and the mapping of the curriculum.
9. To implement all pre-school policies and procedures.
10. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the supervisor or manager, in accordance with the pre-school business plan/objectives.
